In 2024 the traditional 31st International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Scientists "Lomonosov" will take place from April 12 to April 26 at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. ISC "Lomonosov" is organized as a part of the International Scientific Youth Forum "Lomonosov-2024". The chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the "Lomonosov" Forum is the rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Academician Victor Sadovnichiy.

The Conference will be held in an online format.

The Conference is aimed at developing creativity of students, postgraduates and young scientists, incorporating them into finding solutions to the challenges of modern science in order to preserve and develop common international scientific and educational space and establish contacts with future colleagues.

In 2024 there are 48 sections and over 400 subsections reflecting all the main areas of modern fundamental and applied sciences.

The Conference welcomes students (specialists, bachelors and masters), postgraduate students and young scientists from any country of the world under the age of 35 – including students, postgraduates and staff of universities and academic institutions from Russia and abroad.

Official languages of the Conference are Russian and English.

Those wishing to participate in the Conference should submit their proposal/abstract to the organizing committee STRICTLY through the electronic registration system till 16th of February 2024 (inclusive) to be accepted. Submit your proposal/abstract electronically via the "Lomonosov" Scientific and Educational Portal (lomonosov-msu.ru). For proposal/ abstract style guidelines click here. Applications received by email are neither considered nor registered.

Expert examination and competitive selection of applications are performed by the expert councils (jury) of the Conference’s sessions headed by the leading scientists of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Russian Academy of Sciences. Selected participants receive the notification of acceptance by the organizing committee based upon the decision of the expert councils no later than two weeks prior to the start of the Conference.
